Risk Management
Mr. Grinnell has developed Risk Profiles of projects for the State Department, the National Institute of Health, the Architect of the Capitol, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. These deliverables spanned from straightforward risk registers to sophisticated risk models, utilizing 10,000 simulations to pinpoint major risk drivers and forecast overall risk impacts. He has also worked in Parterning Workshops as the Risk Subject Matter Expert.

Planning
Mr. Grinnell has authored more than a dozen constructability reviews for various groups, including the Smithsonian and the U.S. State Department. These reviews encompassed aspects of construction planning and the impacts on existing operations. They tackle issues like worker access and maximizing efficiency in project phasing.

Scheduling
Drawing on decades of field experience, schedules are crafted to accurately mirror project development. Mr. Grinnell authored the US State Department’s Integrated Master Schedule Policy, and on a single task order, he developed and updated over 4,000 schedules for projects in more than 100 cities worldwide. Other schedules were developed for the British Embassy, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Smithsonian.

Value Engineering
Mr. Grinnell has served on Value Engineering Teams in various subject matter expert roles including Scheduling, Cost, Constructability, and Risk. Clients for the Value Engineering Studies include D.C. Water, AECOM, the Smithsonian, USACE, and the US State Department.
